  1. USER INFORMATION
Processing of personal data will be carried out by the Fundación de Investigación del Cáncer de la Universidad de Salamanca (University of Salamanca Cancer Research Foundation) who is the responsible party. The Foundation informs you that your data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (GDPR) and the Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5, 2018 (LOPDGDD). What do we process your personal data for? We process your personal data for the following purposes:
  • Maintaining a commercial relationship with the user
  • Sending information about the Targeting RAS Congress, including the registration, purchase of tickets and other scientific information related to the congress or related research
  • Sending commercial advertising communications via email, fax, SMS, MMS, social media, or any other electronic or physical means that enable commercial communications. These communications will be made by the responsible party and will relate to their products and services, or those of their collaborators or suppliers with whom they have entered into a promotional agreement. Personal data will never be shared with third parties in this case
  • Conducting market research and statistical analysis
  • Processing orders, requests, and responding to queries or any type of request made by the user through any of the contact forms available on the responsible party’s website
  • Sending the online newsletter with updates, offers, and promotions related to our activity
Why may we process your personal data? We may process your personal data because the processing is legitimized by Article 6 of the GDPR as follows: With the consent of the user: sending commercial communications and newsletters. For the legitimate interest of the controller: conducting market research, statistical analysis, etc. and processing orders, requests, etc. at the request of the user.  How long will we keep your personal data? Your personal data will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing or as required by legal obligations. When it is no longer needed for this purpose, it will be deleted using appropriate security measures to ensure the anonymization of the data or its complete destruction. To whom do we provide your personal data? We do not plan to share your personal data with third parties, except if necessary for the development and execution of the purposes of the processing, to our service providers related to communications, with whom the responsible party has signed the required confidentiality and data processing contracts in accordance with current privacy regulations. What are your rights? You have the following rights:
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time
  • The right of access, rectification, portability, and deletion of your data, and to limit or object to its processing
  • The right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if you believe that the processing does not comply with the regulations in place

INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE USER By ticking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or presented in download forms, users expressly and freely and unequivocally agree that their data is necessary for the provider to handle their request. The inclusion of data in the remaining fields is voluntary. The user guarantees that the personal data provided to the responsible party is accurate and is responsible for informing of any changes. The responsible party informs that all data requested through the website is mandatory as it is necessary for the provision of optimal service to the user. If all the data is not provided, there is no guarantee that the information and services provided will be fully tailored to the user’s needs.
  1. SECURITY
In accordance with the current regulations on personal data protection, the responsible party is complying with all the provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD regulations for the processing of personal data under its responsibility, and specifically with the principles described in Article 5 of the GDPR, which state that they should be processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently in relation to the data subject and are adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed. The controller guarantees that it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational policies to apply the security measures established by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD in order to protect the rights and freedoms of users and has communicated the appropriate information to them so that they can exercise them. Please note: Minors or legally incapacitated individuals are prohibited from using the data and may not provide their personal data to the data controller without the prior consent of their parents and/or legal guardians. In this sense, persons of legal age who are in charge of minors or legally incapacitated persons shall be solely responsible if a minor enters their data.
