Welcome to Salamanca

Welcome to Targeting RAS Symposium

About Salamanca

On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committee, we would like to welcome you to the city of Salamanca on 13th-15th September 2023.

The Old City of Salamanca was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988. The city’s historic center has important Romanesque, Gothic, Moorish, Renaissance and Baroque monuments. The Plaza Mayor, with its galleries and arcades, is particularly impressive. The event’s venue is centrally located and within walking distance to all major city attractions.

The university of Salamanca, founded in 1218, is the oldest university in Spain and the third oldest within Western Europe. Currently, hosting 30,000 students, it is one of the most important university cities in Spain and attracts thousands of international students.

As organizers, we have worked enthusiastically to assemble a symposium program featuring invited presentations, short talks from selected abstracts and poster sessions. We have also scheduled round tables and allowed sufficient time for informal discussions to maximize interaction among all participants.

We sincerely hope that our symposium will contribute to reaching our common goal: learning, discussing, and moving forward novel anti-RAS therapies to cancer patients.
