Jan serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at Revolution Medicines, bringing extensive expertise in molecular pharmacology and a deep commitment to advancing small molecule drug discovery and development. With over two decades of experience in drug discovery R&D within the biopharmaceutical industry, Jan has played a pivotal role in identifying numerous clinical candidates spanning diverse disease areas.
Before joining Revolution Medicines, Jan held leadership roles at Theravance Biopharma and Roche Bioscience, further solidifying her leadership and strategic contributions in the field.
Jan’s significant contributions extend to academia, with her co-authorship on over 45 peer-reviewed publications and her role as a named inventor on several issued patents and applications. Her dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and improving therapeutic outcomes underscores her impactful career in the biopharmaceutical sector.
Jan graduated from the University of Bath, U.K., earning a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, U.K., and conducted her postdoctoral research at the University of California, Irvine, and the Sandoz Institute for Medical Research, London, U.K.
