Ian Prior is the North West Cancer Research Chair of Molecular Oncology at the University of Liverpool. His interest in Ras started with a post-doctoral position with John Hancock at the University of Queensland where he was the first to map Ras nanoclusters. His research now focusses on isoform and mutation-specific differences in Ras biology. He uses a variety of omic and imaging approaches to quantify Ras network responses and the influence of cellular context.
